Notion Mail’s iOS, desktop and web apps shut down on 22 September 2026, about seventeen months after launch. Independent outlet RunSolo, which saved Notion’s now-removed shutdown page, says Notion argued more than half of Mail users already handed email workflows to agents. Gmail still holds the synced messages. Reminders set only in Notion Mail and live email-database syncs did not carry over. A personal Gmail AI Connector is free on any plan; organisation-wide Gmail still needs Business or Enterprise plus a Google Workspace admin.
